We have extended the deadline for turning in Tribute Grant applications until May 28!

Several people have expressed an interest in entering this contest, so if you are one of those people, please read the grant FAQs here, then download the application, fill it out, and email it as directed.

There's still time to apply for the regional AGM tribute grant! Entries must be e-mailed on or before May 15, 2014. A tribute grant is to be awarded by the JASNA Oregon/SW Washington Region for attendance at the Montreal AGM, October 9-12, 2014.

Minneapolis AGM commences

The Minneapolis AGM began today, September 27, and will go through September 29. The theme, of course, celebrates the 200th anniversary of Pride and Prejudice.

We look forward to hearing back from some of our regional members who attended!

JASNA AGM registration opens

AGM registration opened today, June 12, at 12 noon. Registration brochures for the 2013 AGM were mailed on Friday, June 7, to all members in good standing who did not opt out of receiving a printed brochure. However, there was an email notice that there were 2 errors included on the printed brochures that were mailed out. The error-free registration form is available online here at http://www.jasna.org/agms/minneapolis/registration-form.pdf.

AGM registration opens at end of May

The 2013 AGM's theme celebrates 200 years of Jane Austen's Pride and Prejudice . . . Timeless. The event will take place in Minneapolis, September 27-29, 2013. For more info, check out the AGM website here at http://www.jasna.org/agms/minneapolis/index.html.

Registration will begin at the end of May, and if you're signed up to receive JASNA emails, you will be sent another announcement at that time. You will be able to register online or by post.

Even though AGM registration has not yet begun, the conference hotel is accepting room reservations now. You may either call the Hilton Minneapolis or register online using a special reservation web page set up for JASNA. A link to the reservation site is posted on the AGM Hotel webpage at http://www.jasna.org/agms/minneapolis/hotel.html.

JASNA's 2012 AGM open for registration

JASNA's 2012 AGM opened for registration this past week, on May 2. Space is limited, so if you're planning on attending, please register as early as possible.

The theme for this year's AGM is "Sexy, Money and Power in Jane Austen's Fiction" and will take place in New York City, October 5-7.
