JASNA Tribute Gifts

JASNA Tribute Donations are donation acknowledgements (tribute gifts).  A Tribute Donation is a Tribute Gift in someone's honor (living) or memory (deceased). Tribute Donations honors or memorializes someone special in your life or our region (who may or may not be a JASNA member) and who is either living or deceased.

The acknowledgee is anyone who is a JASNA member, a previous JASNA member, or a nonmember who might also be a devotee of Jane Austen.
 
JASNA Tribute Donations supports JASNA's mission to foster the study, appreciation, and understanding of Jane Austen's works, her life, and genius.

JASNA will inform the acknowledgee or their family or other designated person of the tribute donation. If it's in an email, the email is titled, "Tribute Donation Acknowledgement." The acknowledgment is from both the JASNA President and the JASNA Treasurer stating that JASNA received a tribute gift in honor of the acknowledgee from the donor, and, that they share this information with the acknowledgee and or the acknowledgee's family or other designated person in case they wish to contact the donor.

Here's how to make a JASNA Tribute Donation:
  • If there is someone to whom you wish to honor in this way, please login to your JASNA account and scroll to "Donate to JASNA or English Institutions."
  • Click "JASNA Donation Forms." Or click on the provided member login link (to the right) and follow the directions.
  • Input your your donation amount.
  • Click next.
  • input the Tribute Name.
  • Choose which type of donation: honor or memory. 
  • You'll have the option to notify the acknowledgee (Tribute Name) or other person (if the acknowledgee is deceased) of your tribute donation.
