What is the Tribute Grant?
In 2010, our region set aside $15,000 from our profits at hosting the AGM in Portland to fund 10 recipients each $1,500 to attend the AGM who haven't been to an AGM before. In 2014, we awarded our first grant. In 2020, the pandemic interfered. In 2024, our region voted to consolidate the 3 remaining grants into 2 grants with each award of $2,250 for 2025 and close out the Tribute Grant in celebration of Jane Austen's 250th anniversary.
